BNV : এরপর রাজা শলোমন ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত প্রবীণ ব্যক্তি, পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর প্রধান ও নেতাদের তাঁর কাছে জেরুশালেমে ডেকে পাঠালেন| শলোমন দায়ূদ নগরী থেকে সাক্ষ্যসিন্দুকটি মন্দিরে আনার সময় তাঁর সঙ্গে য়োগ দেবার জন্য এই সব ব্যক্তিদের ডেকে পাঠিয়ে ছিলেন|
KJV : Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which [is] Zion.
YLT : Then doth Solomon assemble the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, princes of the fathers of the sons of Israel, unto king Solomon, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah from the city of David -- it [is] Zion;

ESV : Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers' houses of the people of Israel, before King Solomon in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.
ERVEN : Then King Solomon told all the elders of Israel, the heads of the tribes, and the leaders of the families of Israel to come together in Jerusalem. Solomon wanted them to join in moving the Box of the Agreement from the City of David up to the Temple.

BNV : অতঃপর এথানীম মাসে অর্থাত্‌ সপ্তম মাসে ফসল সঞ্চয়ের উত্সবের সময় ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত বাসিন্দা এসে রাজা শলোমনের সঙ্গে য়োগদান করল|
KJV : And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which [is] the seventh month.
YLT : and all the men of Israel are assembled unto king Solomon, in the month of Ethanim, in the festival -- [is] the seventh month.

BNV : সমস্ত প্রবীণরা এসে নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে পৌঁছানোর পর যাজকরা
KJV : And all the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark.
YLT : And all the elders of Israel come in, and the priests lift up the ark,
RV : And all the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark.

ERVEN : When all the elders of Israel arrived, the priests and Levites carried the Holy Box of the Lord up to the Temple. They also carried the Meeting Tent and all the holy things that were in it up to the Temple.

BNV : সেই প্রভুর পবিত্র সিন্দুক, ঈশ্বরের উপাসনার জন্য ব্যবহৃত পবিত্র তাঁবুটি ও তাঁবুর জিনিসপত্র বয়ে নিয়ে চলল| লেবীয়রা এই কাজে যাজকদের সাহায্য করেছিল|
KJV : And they brought up the ark of the LORD, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that [were] in the tabernacle, even those did the priests and the Levites bring up.
YLT : and bring up the ark of Jehovah, and the tent of meeting, and all the holy vessels that [are] in the tent, yea, the priests and the Levites bring them up.

BNV : রাজা শলোমন ও ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত বাসিন্দারা সেই পবিত্র সিন্দুকের সামনে একত্রিত হবার পর অগণিত পশু বলি দেওয়া হল|
KJV : And king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel, that [were] assembled unto him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude.
YLT : And king Solomon and all the company of Israel who are met unto him [are] with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that are not counted nor numbered for multitude.

BNV : তারপর যাজকরা প্রভুর এই পবিত্র সিন্দুকটিকে মন্দিরের পবিত্রতম স্থানে যেখানে সিন্দুক রাখার জায়গা সেখানে স্থাপন করল|
KJV : And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy [place, even] under the wings of the cherubims.
YLT : And the priests bring in the ark of the covenant of Jehovah unto its place, unto the oracle of the house, unto the holy of holies, unto the place of the wings of the cherubs;
RV : And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto its place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubim.

ERVEN : The priests carried the Box of the Agreement of the Lord to its proper place inside the Most Holy Place in the Temple, under the wings of the Cherub angels.

BNV : সিন্দুকটিকে করূব দূতদের মূর্ত্তির ডানার তলায় এমনভাবে রাখা হল, যাতে দেবদূতদের ছড়ানো ডানা সেই সিন্দুকটা ও সিন্দুকটার বহন-দণ্ডের ওপর মেলা থাকে|
KJV : For the cherubims spread forth [their] two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.
YLT : for the cherubs are spreading forth two wings unto the place of the ark, and the cherubs cover over the ark, and over its staves from above;

BNV : বহন-দণ্ডগুলো খুবই লম্বা ছিল| পবিত্রতম স্থানের পবিত্র জায়গায় দাঁড়িয়ে যদিও বহনদণ্ডগুলি দেখা য়েত, বাইরে থেকে এই দণ্ডগুলি দেখা য়েত না| এমনকি দণ্ডগুলি এখনও সেই একই জায়গায় রাখা আছে|
KJV : And they drew out the staves, that the ends of the staves were seen out in the holy [place] before the oracle, and they were not seen without: and there they are unto this day.
YLT : and they lengthen the staves, and the heads of the staves are seen from the holy [place] on the front of the oracle, and are not seen without, and they are there unto this day.

ERVEN : The poles are still there today. They are too long for the Most Holy Place, so anyone standing in the Holy Place can see the ends of the poles, although no one outside can see them.

BNV : সিন্দুকের মধ্যে কেবল দুটি পবিত্র প্রস্তর ফলক রাখা ছিল| প্রস্তর ফলক দুটোই মোশি, হোরেব বলে একটা জায়গায় এই সিন্দুকের মধ্যে ভরে রেখেছিলেন| মিশর থেকে বেরিয়ে আসার পর ইস্রায়েলের বাসিন্দারা ঈশ্বরের সঙ্গে একটি চুক্তির ফলস্বরূপ হোরেব নামে জায়গাটিতে থাকতে বাধ্য হয়েছিল|
KJV : [There was] nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made [a covenant] with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
YLT : There is nothing in the ark, only the two tables of stone which Moses put there in Horeb, when Jehovah covenanted with the sons of Israel in their going out of the land of Egypt.

BNV : যাজকরা পবিত্র সিন্দুকটিকে পবিত্রতম স্থানের পবিত্র জায়গায় রেখে বেরিয়ে আসার পর, প্রভুর মন্দিরটি অলৌকিক মেঘেভরে গেল|
KJV : And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy [place,] that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,
YLT : And it cometh to pass, in the going out of the priests from the holy [place], that the cloud hath filled the house of Jehovah,
RV : And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

BNV : মন্দিরটি প্রভুর মহিমাযভরে যাওয়ায় যাজকরা তাঁদের কাজ শেষ করতে পারলেন না|
KJV : So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.
YLT : and the priests have not been able to stand to minister because of the cloud, for the honour of Jehovah hath filled the house of Jehovah.

BNV : তখন শলোমন বললেন:“প্রভু আকাশের ঐ জাজ্বল্যমান সূর্য় নিজেই গড়েছেন, কিন্তু তিনি থাকবার জন্য ঘন মেঘকে বেছে নিয়েছেন|
KJV : Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in thick darkness.
YLT : Then said Solomon, `Jehovah hath said to dwell in thick darkness;
RV : Then spake Solomon, The LORD hath said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.
RSV : Then Solomon said, "The LORD has set the sun in the heavens, but has said that he would dwell in thick darkness.

ERVEN : Then Solomon said: "The Lord makes the sun shine in the sky, but he chose to live in a dark cloud.

BNV : হে প্রভু, চির দিন তোমার থাকার জন্য আমি এই সুন্দর মন্দিরটি বানিয়েছি|”
KJV : I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.
YLT : I have surely built a house of habitation for Thee; a fixed place for Thine abiding to the ages.`
RV : I have surely built thee an house of habitation, a place for thee to dwell in for ever.
RSV : I have built thee an exalted house, a place for thee to dwell in for ever."
ASV : I have surely built thee a house of habitation, a place for thee to dwell in for ever.

BNV : ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত বাসিন্দা তখন সেখানে দাঁড়িয়েছিল, তাই রাজা শলোমন তাদের দিকে ফিরে, ঈশ্বরকে তাদের আশীর্বাদ করতে অনুরোধ করলেন|
KJV : And the king turned his face about, and blessed all the congregation of Israel: (and all the congregation of Israel stood;)
YLT : And the king turneth round his face, and blesseth the whole assembly of Israel; and all the assembly of Israel is standing.
RV : And the king turned his face about, and blessed all the congregation of Israel: and all the congregation of Israel stood.

ERVEN : Then King Solomon turned toward all of the Israelites who were standing there and asked God to bless them.

BNV : তারপর শলোমন এক সুদীর্ঘ মন্ত্রোচ্চারণে প্রভুর প্রার্থনা করলেন| তিনি বললেন, “ধন্য প্রভু ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর মহামহিম| আমার পিতা দায়ূদকে তিনি য়ে সব প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছিলেন, তার সবই তিনি পালন করেছেন| প্রভু আমার পিতাকে বলেছিলেন,
KJV : And he said, Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled [it,] saying,
YLT : And he saith, `Blessed [is] Jehovah, God of Israel, who spake by His mouth with David my father, and by His hand hath fulfilled [it], saying,
RV : And he said, Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying,
RSV : And he said, "Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who with his hand has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to David my father, saying,
ASV : And he said, Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, who spake with his mouth unto David thy father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying,
ESV : And he said, "Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who with his hand has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to David my father, saying,
ERVEN : King Solomon prayed this long prayer to the Lord: "The Lord, the God of Israel, is great. He has done what he promised my father David. The Lord told my father,

BNV : “আমি আমার সমস্ত লোকদের, ইস্রায়েলীয়দের মিশর থেকে নিয়ে এসেছি, কিন্তু এখনও পর্য়ন্ত আমি আমার মন্দির বানানোর জন্য ইস্রায়েলের কোন নগর বেছে নিই নি| আর আমার লোকদের ইস্রায়েলীয়দের পরিচালনার জন্য কোনো ব্যক্তিকে মনোনীত করি নি| এবার আমি আমার উপাসনার জন্য জেরুশালেম শহরকে বেছে নিলাম, আর দায়ূদকে বেছে নিলাম আমার লোকদের, ইস্রায়েলীয়দের শাসন করার জন্য|’
KJV : Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build an house, that my name might be therein; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.
YLT : From the day that I brought out My people, even Israel, from Egypt, I have not fixed on a city out of all the tribes of Israel, to build a house for My name being there; and I fix on David to be over My people Israel.

ERVEN : 'I brought my people, Israel, out of Egypt, but I had not yet chosen a city from among the tribes of Israel for a temple to honor me. And I had not chosen a man to be leader over my people, Israel. But now I have chosen Jerusalem to be the city where I will be honored. And I have chosen David to rule over my people, Israel.'

BNV : “আমার পিতা দায়ূদ প্রভু ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বরের জন্য একটি মন্দির বানাতে খুবই উত্সুক ছিলেন|
KJV : And it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
YLT : `And it is with the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of Jehovah, God of Israel,
RV : Now it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.

BNV : কিন্তু প্রভু, আমার পিতা দায়ূদকে বললেন, ‘আমি জানি, আমার প্রতি তোমার আনুগত্য প্রকাশের জন্য তুমি একটা মন্দির বানাতে চাও| খুবই ভালো কথা,
KJV : And the LORD said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.
YLT : and Jehovah saith unto David my father, Because that it hath been with thy heart to build a house for My name, thou hast done well that it hath been with thy heart;
RV : But the LORD said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart:
RSV : But the LORD said to David my father, `Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart;
ASV : But Jehovah said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thy heart to build a house for my name, thou didst well that it was in thy heart:
ESV : But the LORD said to David my father, 'Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.
ERVEN : But the Lord said to my father David, 'I know that you want very much to build a temple to honor me, and it is good that you want to build it.

BNV : কিন্তু তোমাকে নয়, আমি এই মন্দির বানানোর জন্য তোমার পুত্রকে বেছে নিয়েছি| সে-ই এই মন্দির বানাবে|’
KJV : Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name.
YLT : only, thou dost not build the house, but thy son who is coming out from thy loins, he doth build the house for My name.
RV : nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for my name.
RSV : nevertheless you shall not build the house, but your son who shall be born to you shall build the house for my name.'

ERVEN : But you are not the one to build my temple. Your son will build my temple.'

BNV : “প্রভু য়ে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছিলেন আজ তিনি সেই কথা রাখলেন| আমার পিতা দায়ূদের জায়গায় এখন আমি রাজা হয়েছি| প্রভুর প্রতিশ্রুতি মতো আমি এখন ইস্রায়েল শাসন করি এবং প্রভু ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বরের জন্য আমিই এই মন্দির বানিয়েছি|
KJV : And the LORD hath performed his word that he spake, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
YLT : `And Jehovah doth establish His word which He spake, and I am risen up instead of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as Jehovah spake, and build the house for the name of Jehovah, God of Israel,
RV : And the LORD hath established his word that he spake; for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
RSV : Now the LORD has fulfilled his promise which he made; for I have risen in the place of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and I have built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
ASV : And Jehovah hath established his word that he spake; for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as Jehovah promised, and have built the house for the name of Jehovah, the God of Israel.
ESV : Now the LORD has fulfilled his promise that he made. For I have risen in the place of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and I have built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
ERVEN : "So the Lord has kept his promises. I am the king now in place of my father David. I rule the people of Israel as the Lord promised. And I have built the Temple for the Lord, the God of Israel.

BNV : পবিত্র এই সিন্দুকটি রাখার জন্য আমি মন্দিরের ভেতর একটা জায়গা রেখেছি| ঐ পবিত্র সিন্দুকের ভেতরে প্রভুর সঙ্গে আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের য়ে চুক্তি হয়, তা রাখা আছে| আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের মিশর থেকে নিয়ে আসার সময়, প্রভু তাদের সঙ্গে এই চুক্তি করেছিলেন|”
KJV : And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein [is] the covenant of the LORD, which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.

BNV : “কিন্তু হে প্রভু, আপনি কি সত্যিই আমাদের সঙ্গে এই পৃথিবীতে বাস করবেন? ঐ বিশাল আকাশ আর স্বর্গের উচ্চতম স্থান, এমন কি স্বর্গের শিখর স্থান আপনাকে ধরে রাখতে পারে না| স্বভাবতঃই আমার বানানো এই মন্দিরও আপনার পক্ষে য়থেষ্ট নয়|
KJV : But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?
YLT : But, is it true? -- God dwelleth on the earth! lo, the heavens, and the heavens of the heavens do not contain Thee, how much less this house which I have builded!

ERVEN : King Solomon also dedicated the yard in front of the Temple. He offered burnt offerings, grain offerings, and the fat from the animals that were used as fellowship offerings. King Solomon made these offerings there in the yard. He did this because the bronze altar in front of the Lord was too small to hold them all.

BNV : সেদিন মন্দিরে থেকে রাজা শলোমন ও ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা এই ভাবে ছুটিউদযাপন করেছিল| উত্তরে হমাতের প্রবেশ দ্বার থেকে দক্ষিণে মিশর পর্য়ন্ত ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত বাসিন্দাই সেদিন সেখানে উপস্থিত ছিল| তারা সাতদিন ধরে পানাহার, উত্সব ও স্ফূর্তির মধ্যে দিয়ে প্রভুর সঙ্গে সময় কাটাল| তারপর আরো সাতদিন সেখানে থাকল| অর্থাত্‌ একটানা 14 দিন ধরে তারা উত্সব করল|

This huge crowd of people ate, drank, and enjoyed themselves together with the Lord for seven days. Then they stayed for another seven days. They celebrated for a total of 14 days.
